Hurley gained instant media acceptance. What has been the highlight of her professional experience has been her affiliation with the cosmetics brand Estee Lauder. Hurley was commissioned by Estee Lauder to be their first model, aged 29. In 1995 she's been featured as a model in the products of the company including Sensuous Intuition & Pleasures. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's early attempts to popular stardom failed with two record labels signing but then removing her prior to any material was released. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title track was a cheerful and flippant track that garnered only a small amount of interest from the media. The song I Loved a Girl was a more bold ode to sexism that was accompanied by electronic-pop with a sharp edge. A few critics accused it of promoting homosexual relationships, and others asserted that its sensual lyrics were intended in order to entice men into fantasy. I Kissed A Girl's mix of excitement, a polished tune and an enthralling chorus made its popularity to reach the top 10 across multiple countries. The song helped to sell more albums like The One of the Boys (2007). The album's second hit single Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album which Perry created herself ultimately registered greater than three million copies within the United States.
